Black Bean Burger

Ingredients:
- 1 cup canned black beans
- ½ cup cooked quinoa
- ⅓ cup finely chopped onion
- ¼ cup corn (frozen)
- ½ cup chopped tomato
- 1 big garlic clove chopped
- 2 bread slices
- ½ tablespoon cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
- 1 teaspoon oil + 2-3 tablespoon for patties

Method:
- Add 1 teaspoon oil and add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté well and then add corn. Mix well.
- Add chopped tomato and cook well. Turn off the heat and keep it aside. Add chopped bread slices into a grinder and make breadcrumbs. Keep it aside.
- Get a bowl and add canned black beans. Mash them roughly with masher. Add cooked quinoa, cooked vegetables, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt, mint leaves, and breadcrumbs. Mix everything with your hands. Make around 9 patties from the mixture.
- Heat skillet or tava. Add 1 tablespoon oil and then place patties on it. Cook them till they are golden brown. Flip and do the same procedure.
- Serve hot with burger buns or green chutney or ketchup.
