Ingredients:
- 1⅔ cups all purpose flour
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
- 1⅓ cup sugar
- ¾ cup butter to the room temperature
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- 3 eggs
- ¾ spoon vanilla
- warm water to mix (approx 1 cup)
Method:
- Sift together all purpose flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- Get a bowl. cream together butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and blend it together.
- Add all the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Use water to make it smooth. Again, blend it properly.
- Pre-heat oven to 350 °F.(200 °C). Grease the pan with a baking spray. ( or you can spread butter all over the pan and then sprinkle all purpose flour)
- Pour the batter into the greased pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Ckeck the cake by inserting a toothpick in the middle. If it comes out clean, the cake is baked.
- Remove from the oven. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Transfer it to wire racks to cool completely.
