Ingredients:
- 3 cups spinach leaves
- 1 small onion chopped roughly
- 1-1½ cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Add enough water in a pot and start boiling it. Add spinach leaves and onion. Let it boil until onion and leaves are tender.
- Drain the water from spinach leaves and onion. Let it cool down.
- Add these leaves and onion to the blender with half cup of milk. Make a fine puree. Strain the puree through a strainer.
- Add the puree, remaining milk in a pan and start boiling it. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately with croutons on top!
Note:
- Add 1 garlic clove while boiling.
- Increase or decrease amount of milk according to desired consistency.
